Cruisin' in the Corvair

This wasn't Zeus' first car but it certainly was a classic. He drove this 1958 Corvair for quite a few years. His first car was a black Volkswagon Bug. He also talks lovingly about a Karmen Ghia and a Fiat. I believe the Fiat was a convertible that he says he drove for five or six months one year without having to put the top up. Of course, Eris and I will always have a soft spot in our hearts for Preludes....

Truth be told, it's Mr. Eris who loves the Preludes. Zeus' Prelude is the main reason Mr. married me. He thought we'd inherit it at some point.

That is so cool! I saw some great restored Corvairs in a car show last year.

Why don't you go down to the dealership and pick out a new Prelude then? Huh?

Because they don't make them anymore! I tried to get one when I got my current car. The last year was 2002, I think. (big sad sigh....)

I'm still holding out for that Belvedere. But no car seats. It had no seat belts.
